Office Depot was really busy the day I went and I wanted to wait while the papers were shredded (the whole point was security) and we agreed I would feed the machine and they gave me a discount. Bonus all the way around: I saved money and time and they were able to take care of a lot of other customers. I've also had the mobile shred service show up in my driveway (minimum charge so you want to be sure you have a fair amount). I've paid the kids to run the shredder. This is a very inspiring and motivating tactic for everyone who cannot let go. This tactic also collaborates nicely with the storing like with like concept because these type of items rarely fit into any other category in your life. I'm at a crossroads now because it seems that technology has not kept up with technology. My Centro will not work with Windows 7, which is what I now have on my computer. I've tried several go-arounds that have not worked. I'm back to a paper system again (which feels cumbersome to me) until I find something that will import all my centro contacts/calendars/tasks. Like it or not, technology gets outdated, but paper is forever (I hope). I love using my Centro phone (and PDA) and desktop sync..or at least I did.
