6 Things top have ready on Christmas morning.xmasanna

When the wrapping is ripping, the tags are tangled and the bows and bags are everywhere, you can keep your sanity and keep organized by having these handy items nearby.

1. Scissors for the bows and twist-ties that just won’t untie.

2. A garbage bag. Nuff said.

3. A file or envelope to catch all the toy and gadget manuals. Label it Manuals/Warranties and get all the manuals together before they get lost in the mess with #2, trash.

4. Batteries. Lots of ‘em. If you give/get gadgets you’ll need some power. AAA, AA for most, but you’ll occasionally need C’s, D’s and 9-volt. Check packages for what you need. But if you’ve already wrapped your goodies, then consider it stocking up for the year.

5. Label maker or masking tape and marker to label the cords, chargers, and other odds and ends as soon as you start charging. You’ll never wonder what that charger goes to if you mark it right away.
Silver sharpies are also good for marking directly on black items.

6. Paper and pen to make a list of gifts received for writing thank-you notes. It’s a lost art. Even if you’re not much of a writer, a simple email note is often enough in this day and age. DO send formal notes to the more formal people in your life. They’ll remember how thoughtful you are and appreciate your appreciation.
