Marketing with Coupons Counterintuitive

When I began my business, I was often told not to use discounts or coupons because it devalues the service and it’s giving away the bread and butter. It also seems it might attract people who don’t have enough money for your services. NOT TRUE!

But every time I did use a coupon or deal,  I would get very smart, savvy clients who liked to get the most value for their money.

Well now I find my intuition was right.

People who use coupons are statistically more educated and because of that have a higherhousehold income.

So go ahead – offer a coupon or a discount and don’t let anyone tell you you’re wrong.

The only marketing that is wrong is the marketing that doesn’t work.
