Get Organized Month Events
Get Organized Month (January) is winding up this week with a few big, bigger, BIGGEST EVENTS!
Telesummit (big)
The first is the Organizing Telesummit, hosted by yours truly – with 13 teleclasses for organizers and those who want to get organized.
It’s not too late to get in on classes the rest of the week such as: Feng Shui Tips for Clearing Clutter, Solving the People Puzzle: MBTI, and Social Networking 101. Check it all out over at http://organizingclasses.com
The Great Organizing Give-away (bigger)
My colleague Stephanie Calahan put together a whopper of an event. She got more than 80 professional organizers to contribute a give-away of some kind and put them all onto one site.
If you are a new organizer, you might also like to see what is out there for you to learn from.
You can register to get FREE resources, audio programs, ebooks, etc. http://bit.ly/OrgGiveAway
I’m giving away my “Scared of Filing” booklet with strategies for organizing a home office.
The Los Angeles Organizing Awards (BIGGEST)
You can rub elbows with the elite of the organizing industry at the Los Angeles Organizing Awards January 30th.
Actress Kim Coles (of Living Single fame) will be this year’s emcee.
Organizers who have contributed greatly are awarded for all kinds of categories such as:
Best home organizing product
Most helpful organizing technology
Best TV make-over show
Best TV show including organizing
Best organizing website or blog
Best organizing book
And much much more. Check out the finalists here
Check back here after the awards to find out who takes home the coveted prizes!

I am so excited to be part of the Great Organizing Giveaway – participants can download a free copy of my Personal Medical Organizer which normally sells for $14.95.
I’m even more excited that one of my longest standing clients is an award finalist in the best organizing book category! Can’t wait to find out who the winners will be!
Thanks for mentioning the giveaway Allison! We actually have 127 experts participating in the Great Organizing Giveaway tm (or GOG as we are now calling it!) Since we are still actively promoting it, if anyone is interested in getting in on the fun, just contact me.
I SO wish I could go to the LA Organizing awards – especially since I’m one of the finalists for most innovative organizer – but my doctor has not released me for travel yet (darn surgery). Hope everyone that attends has a fantastic time!
I have heard some really good things about the teleconferences you are holding. So glad that you are here and promoting the growth of our industry. Keep up the great work!
To your success
Stephanie
